Through an agreement between the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada and the American Medical Association, physicians may convert Royal College MOC credits to AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™. European Union for Medical Specialists (EUMS) ECMEC
Live educational activities, occurring in Canada, recognized by the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada as Accredited Group Learning Activities (Section 1) are deemed by the European Union of Medical Specialists (UEMS) eligible for ECMEC®.

Nursing Continuing Professional Development
In support of improving patient care, Partners for Advancing Clinical Education is jointly accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME), the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE), and the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC), to provide continuing education for the healthcare team.
PACE designates this live activity for a maximum of 28 ANCC Credits. Nurses should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.

APA Accreditation for Psychologists
SIOP is happy to announce that in 2023 we have applied for APA accreditation for Psychologists attending the SIOP congress. Continuing Education (CE) credits for psychologists will be provided through the co-sponsorship of the American Psychological Association (APA) Office of Continuing Education in Psychology (CEP). The APA CEP Office maintains responsibility for the content of the programs.
In order to receive the post-congress link for claiming the credits, a fee of 50 CAD is required during the Registration process.
Please note that if you are planning to claim these credit points for Psychologists, your badge will need to be scanned at the entrance of each PPO session.

• Complete the credit claim form and submit it.
• The CME/CPD certificate will be available for download; download and/or print to retain for your personal records.
2. Nursing Continuing Professional Development:

• Visit the SIOP 2023 online evaluation HERE
• Complete the activity evaluation.
• Upon completion of all evaluation questions, the credit will be made available for download immediately.

• Debate epidemiology, biology and prognostic factors in children and adolescents with oncologic malignancies.
• Discuss experimental treatments, targeted therapies and cancer immunology in pediatric cancer.
• Address precision medicine and cancer predisposition in pediatrics.
• Debate novel approaches in radiation therapy, radiomics and imaging modalities in childhood cancer.
• Discuss functional results after surgical resection of pediatric tumors.
• Enhance the knowledge in the prevention and treatment of chemotherapy adverse effects.
• Address supportive care and palliative homecare in high- and low-income countries.
• Identify educational resources, networks and other for exchange of knowledge and learning about pediatric oncology.
• Enhance new relationships with colleagues with common interests throughout the world.
TARGET AUDIENCE
The 55th Annual SIOP Congress is the global meeting place for physicians, researchers, scientists, nurses, surgeons, pediatric and radiation oncologists other healthcare professionals in the field of pediatric oncology and its sub-specialties. Because of the diverse, clinically focused educational offering, participants can tailor the curriculum to meet the needs of international clinicians of all levels of experience. The target audience includes international, regional, and national physicians, researchers, scientists, and other healthcare professionals in the field of pediatric oncology and its sub-specialties.
