I am delighted to invite you to 55th Annual Congress of the International Society of Paediatric Oncology (SIOP) in Ottawa, Canada, from October 11-14, 2023.
PROS is excited to be joining SIOP and IPSO in this important event bring together healthcare professionals from around the world to discuss the latest advances in the treatment of childhood cancer.
We will start with pre-congress education full day program featuring the management of paediatric tumours in base of skull location. This part of the program will be hosted by University of Ottawa on October 10.
The scientific programme for the congress is packed with exciting sessions, including: management of Hodgkin lymphoma, infant tumours, sarcomas, neuroblastoma trial updaters, advanced technologies for treatment planning, adaptive guidelines for LMIC, advances in medical physics with the focus on artificial intelligence, radiomics and MR linacs. We will have ½ day dedicated to updates from PENTEC (Pediatric Normal Tissue Effects in the Clinic) project. Allied health session will highlight project Campfire Circle and cover helping children with limited responses. Our joint symposium with IPSO and SIOP will be dedicated to management of head and neck tumours. We will have a multidisciplinary debate on management of low-grade gliomas. PROS Free Paper sessions will showcase abstracts selected by scientific committee. Lastly, we are pleased to announce that the past PROS President, Dr. Carolyn Freeman, will be delivering D’Angio keynote address at the congress.
